Comments about your run? (Calgary09)

June 22nd, 2009

For many people Loops for the Troops is very personal. Soldiers such as Cpl. Mark Fuscko and Master Cpl. Jody Mitic, who both lost their legs while serving in Afghanistan were involved and supporting the event. Many runners have lost loves ones to the ravages of combat. Those that have felt the pain of losing loved ones in combat come to support those that are still fighting for freedom and peace in various regions of the world.

Thank you for a well organized race that was very emotionally charged. The route was great and as I am not a fast runner my 10K takes me quite a long time but I ALWAYS manage to get it done. I appreciated that the roads were still closed when I came in as I have participated in races where the signs were even taken down and I was not sure where to run. Thank you for all your efforts and a fun race. You definately gave us something to think about and to be greatful for!!!!
